After your massage there are a few things you can do for the best results:

 

Drink extra water for 24-48 hours  

(Massage therapy can be dehydrating. Drink plenty of water  to flush out any toxins released into your system.)

Eat protein 

(Eating protein will help your body to repair the muscle tissue after your appointment.)

Keep moving 

(The best thing you can do to avoid muscle soreness after a massage is light exercise.)

Stretch

(Maintain the results of your massage by stretching hypertonic

muscle groups.)

Get a good night of sleep

(Make sure your body has an opportunity to rest with eight hours of sleep.)
